THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST IN YOU

HOW TO BE A BURNING BUSH AND NOT A DEAD TREE

‘For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law’ Gal 3.10 NIV. So what do we do? We don’t develop our brand version of the knowledge of good and evil and call that the Gospel. We live our life in the New and Living Way that is Christ our life. This is the holistic Gospel of the Kingdom.

SOCIALISED INTO DULLED LIFE
A purely rational/informational version of Christian doctrine of the kind that assumes that one’s doctrine is biblically and logically based – meaning that one’s beliefs are a watertight case that is an unassailable fortress will be an unfortunate example of ‘the letter that kills’. Real knowing in a Godly sense is a state of being which like the rising sun rises in us as we grow into the union with God that is already ours in Christ. It is our growing participation in the Living Word, known as ‘Jesus eyes’ that informs us of valid expressions of the Way, the Truth and the Life.

EACH A BURNING BUSH
The effect of living Christ come in our flesh is that we become saturated with the life and light that is Jesus Himself. We are in the Spirit of Truth, baptised into the logos so that real nature of the Kingdom of God is revealed to our minds as by the Spirit we share in the mind of Christ.

YOU CANT MAKE IT UP
The Christian doctrine of God is not of any
private interpretation.
Revelation proceeds from God to man, breaking sovereignly into human life and thought, calling into question what people claim to know, and directing their thinking beyond themselves altogether. It creatively evokes an entirely new mode of consciousness, in faith and understanding, conditioned by a new relation to God initiated and set up, not from man’s side at all, but from the other side of the boundary between man and God.

MYSTERY OF GODLINESS
“The knowledge of God given in this way through divine revelation is not from the known to the unknown, but from the hitherto unknown to the known. It is a mystery so utterly strange and so radically different that it cannot be apprehended and substantiated except out of itself, and even then it infinitely exceeds what we are ever able to conceive or spell out.

COMMON MILEAU OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL MINDSET
Far less may it be assimilated into man’s familiar world of meaning and be brought into line with the framework of its commonly accepted truths, for the radically new conception of God proclaimed in the Gospel calls for a complete transformation of man’s outlook in terms of a new divine order which cannot be derived from or inferred from anything conceived by man before.” As subtle and well-meaning as these conceptions may be, they fall under the label of the mystery of iniquity – the mysterious dullness of mind that muffles new creation life and undermines the Kingdom.

SELF IMPOSED UN-LIFE CURSE
It is significant that both Paul and John warn of a curse that lights on those who dilute or adjust the Gospel of the Kingdom.

John writes, ‘I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll’ Rev 22.18. This warning applies to John’s prophecy – but it’s not rocket science to see that it applies to any warping or dilution of the Christian Gospel into some version of the knowledge of good and evil.
